St Patty's in Fort Myers and crossing the Okeechobee Waterway and repair work on the boatand the Edison Ford estates are all that stands out. Here are some pictures of this time.

Edison built a Workshop so that he could continue to work even while he was in the south on vacation. Notice the jackshaft to the left to run all of the equipment. Everything was run by a series of pulleys and belts.
We want Remmy in this Palm Garden almost almost everyday. The garden was built just two years after I was born in 1955. It was fun to see Palms from all over the world.

A very rare sight. A baby manatee was born in the dark area just hours before we saw took this picture. Mama would push his head up to make sure he breathed.
